MyVow, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the MyVow Fit mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App.
MyVow Fit is designed to keep most of your data on your device. The categories of information involved in using the App are:
The App stores the following information in a local database on your device. This information is not transmitted to us and is not stored on any server we control:
If you delete the App from your device, this information is permanently deleted.
To provide certain features, the App sends limited information to third-party services on your behalf. We do not store this information ourselves.
AI Coaching (Sage): When you interact with the in-app AI assistant or upload images (such as grocery receipts) to it, your messages and any images you upload are sent to Anthropic, PBC for processing. Anthropic processes this content to generate responses and does not retain it for training purposes under their commercial terms. Food and Nutrition Data: When you search for foods, the search terms you enter are sent to third-party nutrition databases (FatSecret Platform API, USDA FoodData Central) via our proxy infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers, Fly.io). These searches do not include your name, account, or any identifying information.
Subscriptions and Payments: All subscription transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. See Apple’s privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/

Information sent to third-party services is used solely to provide the features you request (AI responses, food data lookups, subscription processing). We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing purposes.
MyVow Fit is intended for users aged 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 17. If you believe a minor has used the App, please contact us at the address below and we will take appropriate action.
Because most of your data is stored locally on your device, you can access, modify, or delete it at any time by using the App or by uninstalling it.
For information processed by third parties (Anthropic, Apple, FatSecret, USDA, Cloudflare, Fly.io), please refer to the privacy policies of each provider linked above to exercise rights specific to that service.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, or another U.S. state with applicable privacy laws, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. To exercise any such rights, contact us using the information below.
We use industry-standard practices to protect data in transit, including HTTPS encryption for all communications between the App and third-party services. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
MyVow Fit is currently offered to users in the United States. If you access the App from outside the United States, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by updating the “Effective date” above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
